Maria Spanish School offers a fun & cultural program for children to learn the Spanish Language.

 

We are a group of Latin American educators that are passionate about our language and cultural background. For us, our students are very important and we are creating new tools, programs and ways of teaching Spanish.

Maria Valenzuela

Founder & Teacher 

 

Maria Valenzuela is a journalist from Chile. She has a Master in Social Communication and a Certificate IV in Education Support in Melbourne.  

 

Since her arrival in Melbourne in 2011, she has been involved in Early Childhood Education by delivering workshops for children at local childcare centres, and as a Spanish teacher for children at the VSL (Victorian School of Languages) and for adults at Community Centres, as well as being actively involved in the Spanish-speaking community in Melbourne. 

Natalia Tavera

Assistent Teacher

Natalia Tavera is from Bogotá- Colombia. She is currently completing a Bachelor of Primary Education at Deakin University.

 

Natalia is passionate about teaching and working with children. She has gained more of her teaching experience by working at La Escuelita de Maria teaching Spanish and while university placements.  Natalia is very proud of her Latin American background and loves sharing part of her culture with others.

Romina Morales

Assistant Teacher

​

Romina Morales is from Argentina. She studied a Certificate in Spanish as second Language in her country.

​

In Australia, Romina has teaching Spanish to adults & children, had a run a Spanish Playgroups and organised other activities to spread the Latin Culture in Melbourne.
